नए नियम के तहत युवक व युवती को शादी के लिए जिलाधिकारी से लेनी होगी अनुमति

लव जिहाद के बढ़ते मामले को देखते हुए उत्तर प्रदेश में विधि विरुद्ध धर्म संपरिवर्तन प्रतिषेध अध्यादेश-2020 को मंजूरी दे दी गई है। इस अध्यादेश के लागू होने के बाद छल-कपट व जबरन धर्मातरण के मामलों में एक से 10 वर्ष तक की सजा हो सकती है। खासकर किसी नाबालिग लड़की या अनुसूचित जाति-जनजाति की महिला का छल से या जबारन धर्मांतरण कराने के मामले में दोषी को तीन से 10 वर्ष तक की सजा भुगतनी होगी।

In view of the growing case of love jihad, the Unlawful Religion Prohibition Ordinance-2020 has been approved in Uttar Pradesh. After the enactment of this ordinance, there can be a sentence of one to 10 years in cases of deceit and fraud. Especially in the case of tricking or forcibly converting a minor girl or a woman belonging to a Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe, the culprit will have to face a sentence of three to 10 years.
